What Does This Diagonal Strut Do And How Does It Allow Suspension Travel?

With the single rear wheel all of the roll control is in the front suspension. Front stabilizer bar would be about imperative. Advantage of the diagonal links is they're a ready made attach points for a stabilizer bar.

Actually, by using the pull rod, some of the weight transfered to the outside wheel assembly during a turn is also transfered back toward the inner wheel! This pull rod is what excited me the most when the P4 came out! A double wishbone with a pull rod!
Think of it as a scissoring action! It also pulls inward at the top of the tire, countering the natural effect of the tire trying to "tip" outward during cornering! Best of all, it should really help smooth out the ride.
