And I'm sure you can have your Elio custom-fitted to look a lot like that one -- at least the left half of that one. Only $6,000 additional.

Actually I probably could if I had a spare six grand and my IQ dropped 50 points. All kidding aside, if anyone wants to have custom wood trim done for their Elio you might want to get in touch with Wabbit's Woodworks in Cleveland, Texas. I've seen their work and it's unbelievable. :D

I can imagine; just hand them a charge card and don't be shocked when you get the bill.
I know of a lot of places like that; absolutely awesome work and a price tag to match.

has it been determined if the leather, power seat will have the option to be heated .... it doesn't much matter to me but my wife loves heated seats
When I saw the Elio 3 weeks ago I overheard someone (from Elio) saying you'd be able to get heated seats, cooling seats, reclining seats, whatever you want. I took that with a huge grain of salt.

Actually, you should believe it. Maybe not the recline part -- possible interference with your passenger's knees -- but the seats are standard, and the maker -- Lear, I think it is -- produces every seat variety you can think of, and I bet many of them have standard-width tracks, so mounting Lear Model XXY Massaging Seat with built-in earphones on elio's standard track is probably no big deal. I don't know for sure about the standard track width, but I am confident that since EM is using a seat from a Ford Mustang, any seat that would fit that car would also drop right into the Elio. Just a matter of plug-and-play.

they've said for a long time now that he driver's seat will be like the ones installed in Mustangs .... with that being the case, I can see how EM could offer whatever options are available for those seats .... as an option, the buyer will pay more and EM's profit will got up

Meh. Just like reclining seats on an airplane. 'I' want to recline, that's your problem :D

Slight adjustment to the stock Mustang set; when I saw them at the Portland stop I was told they plan on redesigning the seat to make the cushion a little narrower so you can reach the recline lever without having to open the door.

That's only works on the plane, in your car with someone you know in the back makes it a whole new ballgame.
If it was a wife or SO there is no way in the world (if you want to live) that you would drop the seat back onto them.

From what I've heard others say about you , dropping 50 IQ points would put you in the elite group of negative I Q's, ( saying it with a smile)
