I like the idea of an Elio Lovers Individualism Organization. The Elio definitely lends itself to such thoughts and creativity as shown in many of the suggestions on this forum and others. :-) Z

Trying to pick the color that is most easily/visible, seen. I drive in the land of the living dead (South Florida), and need all the help I can get. I remember reading that red ( fire truck) is not the best color for visibility.

From just a quick reading the issue is that it looks like it depends on the time of day. It looks like greenish yellow works best in daylight but at dawn and dusk orange is better. Also even more important than just color is reflectivity which is why fluorescent yellow/green and orange are used for safety. Also none of this really appears to matter at night or in inclement weather when most accidents happen.

For vehicles it appears that daytime running lights or accessory LED lights are more likely to improve your visibility in all conditions than the color of the vehicle.
