Tom Magliozzi passed away on Monday. He was 77. My sympathies to his family and his brother, Ray. A little bit of light just went out of the world... :-( I can't even count the number of times these guys had me laughing coffee out my nose...

When I think of Americans who exemplify the very best of what I think our nation and culture has to offer, that chowderhead Tom might be at the top of my list. Kind, funny, irreverent, and understatedly compenent, Tom left every conversation he ever entered better off then when he entered it. They say that the high tide raises all boats. He was one of those guys.
