Pretty much anything is welcome at Sturgis. Many will look at it and forget about it once home then remember it when they see it again.
There is an aging group of riders. Not all would jump in on the ELIO but once it hits the street I am sure a small percentage would buy one just because they could.
Look at the ages groups that ride today, the touring group are largely grandparents.
Kind of funny to see a group of riders that ride 20-60K a year sitting around a table at Deal Gap showing pictures of their grand kids, not getting hammered and throwing someone to the ground. The term Biker has matured.

People like me will buy an ELIO or two maybe 3 for others. Grand kids off to college . Grandchildren first car in high school ect.
I have a 161/2 year old granddaughter that can't wait to see the ELIO. She has learned how much gas cost in the last 6 months.
around 50-80 mpg has over ridden any concerns she had with the way it looks.
