They painted it like that so it is harder to see the design features. Many companies do it on new designs.

Did not know where to put this rant.The Elio will change history, and what people drive. In my opinion it is the first 3 wheeler that makes sense for mass production. Mr Elio was brilliant to insist on car safety standards from the beginning. Novelty will not wear off with the ELIO design.
