He could still haul it home. I was considering doing the same thing. My wife's family lives in Shreveport. I could make a trip of it and stuff the Elio in my car hauler trailer. I don't THINK the Elio will be too wide for the trailer but it might be close. Of course, putting a car in the trailer is still tricky because the door can't open far. In the Elio, that WON'T be a problem!Not too fast, it was on the boards that the possibility to pick up and drive home directly from the factory, with a stay-over package deal from the casinos , and tour the plant (fly-ins only), and yes you will still pay the same rate shipping and handling as anywhere else in the lower 48. I thought it would have been so cool- probably could have sold it at a premium on the drive back home to Seattle
... and there will be a marshalling center there at the factory.
