I went to the store today after my swim. The young lady who came out with me to return the handicart to the store asked me about my Elio bumper sticker. So I told her all about Elio. She got it! and was planning on doing some serious checking out when she got home from work. Her comment: "wouldn't it be fun to have a bunch of us driving around town in our Elios"! Main points she liked: $6800 and 84/49mpg. I was definitely smiling when I left the parking lot! :-) Z
I had a local artist do custom pinstripes on my first RX. In pearl white, without a shadowline in the sheetmetal, the profile of the Lexus was pretty bland. I watched the guy freehand a pair of contrasting dark gold and copper stripes with muted arrowheads at the front and a nice filigree on the tailgate. Tasteful, and unique. You wouldn't believe how much better they looked than the usual dealer-installed tape stripes.
You'll get more use out of the second sign. There will be a crowd around the Elio every time it's sitting somewhere out in public.
oh hell yeah! way better than mine. if you can get translucent endcaps to the wheel fenders , and make them light up..that would be something else!
