The Big One! [blizzard Of '16]

Attached some snow picts. I would say we got over a foot so far, and its still coming down as can be seen by the picts. (9:05 am here).

We pay a service (a fixed amount each year) to do our landscaping, and to plow our roads when it snows. When we have only a inch they are always out there scrapping away. This is due to nobody will hire them to plow, so they scrape the pavement to show us they are earning there money. However, when we have a real snow they are nowhere to be found, as they can get money from non-customers to plow.

As the said in the movie Casino, "Its always about the FN money".

How is everyone that is going thru this doing? Feel free to share your experience and/or attach picts.

25 miles west of Knoxville, Tn. 10:30am and we are socked in!...with about 1 inch of snow...so far

I heard last night I-75 had a few thousand cars not moving because of the snow and an accident with a semi jack-knifing; this was in Kentucky.
Watching the news this morning, not a word about that; did they get them moving?

I will have to say, I don't miss the winter snows at all. The rain here may be depressing at times but it's a lot better than what's going on in the East.

A little late, but my snow tires (mounted on alloys with TPMS sensors installed) are on the way from TireRack.

I downsized to 16" for a better patch in the snow. The tires are Pirelli Winter Snowcontrol Serie 3. I wish I could have gotten some General Altimax Arctics... I have them on the Outback, and they kick butt!
