Great idea Rick, sense I am married and my wife won't let me date,May be I could sleep in it when I take those long trips! I like it! P.S. I just bought more stock!

If you need a commuter vehicle.... Elio seems like a great choice.

If you need/want a vehicle for just cruising on your own.... Elio seems like a great choice.

If you need a vehicle to pull your travel trailer while going on your first date.... perhaps a different vehicle...

My bride of 44 years has no problem sitting in the back seat and neither do I

If you want to impress your date, let her/him drive it while you sit in the back. That says you trust your date and, if she/he did crash it, you're rich enough to not care. Of course, you could also require your date to post a bond first before handing the keys over, but that sends a different message.

Tried convincing my parents to let me drive the family van (with bed in the back) to my prom. They made my brother loan me his 280Z instead.

My bride is 78 and she doesn't have a problem sitting in the back seat. It is getting into the back seat that is the problem! Ha!

My bride is 72, she just walked in the P4 and P5, turned around and sat down....she's just over 5'

Some good posts, thank you. I think playing rock, paper, sisors to see who drives would be fun. The Elio doesn't need to be a date car. It isn't one of the Four must haves. I just hope it is as fun as I think it will be. If someone doesn't want to ride in the back, no problem. If she will ride in my rusty truck, or my station wagon, even better.
