Elio Addict
Maybe something to consider in regards to Infinite Skyz, is that their headquarters is southeast of downtown Houston, TX, and not far at all to Trinity Bay. My guess is they might still be recovering from Hurricane Harvey.

Yes, at speeds over 50 constantly aka highwayI take it we'll only be able to hit 84mpg with Eco mode on?
No, they have their own washer reservoir. Is Elio still planning on using windshield washer fluid containers for the wash system? I can't imagine the the savings would be more than the cost of making a bracket to fit different size containers. Also you would need to bring a funnel to top up the fluid. Wouldn't want to be on the road with an almost empty container.
I have been told that the E1C is close to production ready. So, looking at the engine compartment pictures, the washer bottle installed in it, is this $48 unit that they buy from Vibrant Performance. Is Elio still planning on using windshield washer fluid containers for the wash system? How did you find out that Elio is close to production?I have been told that the E1C is close to production ready. So, looking at the engine compartment pictures, the washer bottle installed in it, is this $48 unit that they buy from Vibrant Performance.

One thing Elio has going for it is that they are skimping out on the parts and going for high quality racing components. When you buy a $70K Mustang GT350, they don't even come with that type of quality.
IMHO...They're not.How did you find out that Elio is close to production?
That's because I got one in my garage and drive it every day.How did you find out that Elio is close to production?

I'll only believe that EM is close to production ready when they start scheduling test drives like the FUV and the SOLO and even with all these sworn to secrecy BS, that's the kind of news they won't hold back don't you think? It's like owning a very expensive plane ready to fly (overall cost of prototypes) but waiting for cheap aviation fuel (funding)- it does not compute! That's because I got one in my garage and drive it every day.
As for my quote that is not taken out of context, there are a number here that keep indicating that the E1C us close to production ready, since they follow Elio in a diligent way, they might know much more than you or I. All I was doing was pointing out the off the shelf components they are using and where they came from.
