I hope everyone is more knowledgeable than I am because I have not figure out how to download my pictures from my camera to my iPad let alone to then put them on elioowners.com, and I have been home (more or less because it seems like I have been on the go more than I have been home) a week. LOL :-) Z

Next time you could just use the camera in your iPad (at least that takes care of a step) :D

The iPad is a lot heavier and I walk with a cane, plus I don't know how to use my iPad away from home. In fact I was wondering, do I need internet connection to use the camera? I'm afraid to take my iPad away because I don't know where I recorded the password for connecting my wifi again. I love all these technologies but I hate having to remember so (________) many passwords. LOL :-) Z

Point(s) taken, just so you know.......no you do not need internet to use the camera.

Hello everyone - I only had a little time to stop by & visit the Elio tour group on my way to work, but I thought you might be interested in some of the answers given to my questions. Forgive me if some of this info has already been covered elsewhere, & forgive me if unorganized.

Body panels - composite material with fiberglass "powder" (not fibers) & will be painted, not molded color.

Tilt steering wheel is standard.

Final rear view mirrors will be somewhat larger than current P4 for greater visibility.

OBD support (1 or 2) not yet determined which or if any.

Standard location for stereo speakers is is in the front dash, up close to the windshield. No door speakers at this time. Unclear of what the stereo upgrade will include.

Exact cost of delivery fee not yet determined. Delivery will be to one of the dealership locations as stated on the website. Delivery fee will not be waved for those picking up at the factory, as they stated it is a function of averaging out the cost for each unit.

The front fender skirts are a function of saving MPG; however, they are planning on P3 style fenders that can be swapped as an option, say for a weekend ride or as a preferred style.

Current fender skirt design will be changed so that it is somehow able to swing upward or away for easy access to the tire. Rear fender skirt will also be hinged - rear panel swings out & left side panel swings on forward hinges, so that if not properly latched wind force will keep it closed. There will be a latch in the trunk area to release the rear skirt.

Planning on 500/day build rate once production is under way.

As some have stated, seat is from Mustang, steering wheel from Camaro. Upgraded wheel will include wheel mounted controls for cruise control & stereo - and paddle shifters for automatic.

Other options do include backup camera, power seat, etc.

Hopefully this will help for others to build their questions on, either to confirm or clarify.

My impression of sitting inside was somewhat different - not quite sure what I expected - but enjoyable. Was comforting to be able to clearly see both fender skirts easily. Personally don't think backup camera is necessary as rear visibility is easy. It did make me want to drive one to experience what it is like.

Photos were not great due to the outdoor location & partial shade. I will include the engine compartment, as I don't recall seeing it prior.

Back to work!
