Lee Iacocca, father of the Ford Mustang and champion of the minivan, 1924-2019
Lido Anthony “Lee” Iacocca, the man who helped launch the Ford Mustang, is credited for helping bring Chrysler back from the brink of financial ruin and sold America on the minivan, died at his Bel Air, California, home Tuesday morning, according to TMZ and other sources. Iacocca was 94.

Great man, and he started a lot of great ideas in this country.
Mini-vans, sports type cars, and the list goes on.

He did save Chrysler, after Ford fired him.
