That may be what's on Facebook, but we've got to stick with what's on the EM home page; on FB someone could have Photo Shopped it.

This is what's on the EM home page currently

Plugging that into the spreadsheet, you have 283 reservations over 8 days, for 35.4 per day. That's about the same as it was for nearly two years between September 2014 and September 2016.

While it might be disconcerting to not see a reservation surge form the autoshow, remember that there was no reservation surge after last year's autoshow, either, despite the unveiling of the P5. For this period last year we had 37.3, 31.7, and 35.0.

Most of the people sitting on the fence probably signed up after the price was fixed a couple months ago. I don't expect anything to happen to change the current average until EM releases some *big* news. Like the start of production of the 100 fleet models, or the approval of the ATVM loan, or something equally big.

Didn't we see the same thing last year when they had the P5 on stage?
No big jump in reservations; I think the holidays are the biggest hold up on a huge swing.

Stock did a +$6 per share, that's what I would call a big jump.

Again, It seems your belief is tied to the wild assumption that the inaugural shout out will be to continue the DoE ATVM Loan Program's funding. Good luck with that.
New administration shout out heard yesterday for innovative automotive technology (Elio Motors)...this will synch nicely with the new administration's emphasis on traditional energy sources...oil, gas and coal...oil companies won't leave billions of barrels in the ground...and now they won't have to!!!
