It's all good news and shows that the Elio is definitely making an impression as a vehicle for the transportation future. At this rate we should have no difficulty in reaching 40K reservations by the end of the year.
Elio only needs less than 100/day to hit that now, (97 to be exact)

I'm a stats kinda guy, and it looks like from the chart, reservations have doubled to their current level, in less than 4 months. Will be interesting to see if reservations double again before mid-October, in less than 4 months.

Just a guess and some fun: 150 reservations a day x 110 days = 16,500, a bit short of 22,000. But, using that guess, that would put the total at roughly 38,700 in mid-October. Very close to the 40,000-reservations-limit number.

I was so shocked when I first saw the results on my calculator I checked the numbers 4 times before I dared post them. LOL :) Z
I talked to one of the reps at the Columbus, OH prototype #3 showing on Sat and he said they were estimating 250 per day. I drove 6 hours from Central Pennsylvania to see it/ sit in it, etc

Hi and welcome from Oregon, Dean Marcaurelle. That is a long trip. My trip to Portland next month will be 7 hours RT. As far as I am concerned it will be well worth the time and effort. I take it the trip was worth it or you wouldn't be here now. Enjoy this exciting adventure and journey toward Elio production and ownership. :-) Z

Yes ... the trip was well worth it. So exciting to see and sit in Elio. A very sleek machine --- and it was only the P3!! Can't wait to see the P5, which is in the works now! --DEAN
