The problem with 10 isn't the interface, it's the extensive tracking and privacy invading "features".

That's one of the reasons why I use Linux. If a distribution decides to add in tracking or ads, people will quickly find that out and I can switch to another one.
I don't worry about the tracking; I've turned all of it off, and my network is secure (I know, I built it).
Plus I don't do things like store personal banking and SS numbers on any of my computers.
But I do agree with you to a degree, most people would not know how to turn off or block "features" like I did.

Until Microsoft gets rid of their built in single point of failure it is and always be a piece of crap. (Registry)
Until they eliminate general libraries being a part of the kernel it will be a piece of junk.

And what OS is used in the majority of businesses?
It may be junk to you but it meets the needs of the masses, along with being the OS that most every other business apps is designed to run on.

Even Bill Gates said MS shouldn't be used for mission critical applications.
Give me any release of System 5 after SVr3.2.

When did he say that? Bill left MS years ago and other people are taking it in a direction they feel is right <doesn't mean it is>.
I really don't have a problem with MS; I use what I need and don't concern myself with the rest; that works just fine for me.

He only left 9 years ago. The warning used to be on the label on OEM packages and it was discussed in some detail when the EU wouldn't use MS on the International Space Station because of Blue Screen of Death.
Unix SVr3.2 and later were so stable that the various manufactures put a cron job in to do a reboot once a year. It was recommended, but not required, that that cron be left in.

Completely different application then what is needed for most business applications.
Controlling the ISS is a singular application.

And what does this have to do with Elio reservations?

Well you see, the Microsoft Internet connects to the Elio through a series of tubes...
