I seem to be unable to find out the "guesstimate" for the delivery of my Elio after my "I'm all in" submission on Aug. 31, 2014. Can anyone help me with this? And when can I place my selection for color, hatchback window, 5-speed standard transmission and such? Additionally, in that I reside in Southern California but am not a liberal progressive, can anyone tell me if it would benefit me to pick up my Elio in Louisiana rather than a local dealership in the Los Angeles area?

because the date for starting production is way up in the air, no way a delivery date can be made at this time .... if you put $1,000 All In you should have received a reservation number .... the number listed with your Avatar isn't a production number .... a few weeks prior to the time yours will be built you will get the opportunity to order .... most state dealerships may not be available until 2016, so delivery methods are still developing

You should have received your Spot in Line number with the September 10 release. If you did not get it, it most likely went to your spam folder and is gone. If you look at my signature lines you will find one with the contact information for finding out what your number is. There will not be any dealerships anywhere. There will be sales rooms but not until the second year. We will be notified several weeks before our vehicle is produced to specify our selections. A lot of us are going to Shreveport to pickup our Elios simply because it will give us a chance to go through the plant and to drive our Elios but there will likely be other delivery options. Again, that is further down the road. Someone on here created a thread where you could enter your information (SIL # I think but I'm not sure) and it would guesstimate your expected production date. I'll let that settle in my brain for a while and see if I can come up with the appropriate thread. Or someone will help me out and provide it. :-) Z

I EM is currently running the same promotion you got when you hooked up before the end of the last promotion. It has since been re-opened, and will remain open until(?) I believe wiser folks than I can comment.

EM does not have a policy about your political affiliations or home state, so if you happen to be a socialist not to worry..
BTW there will not be, "dealerships" i.e. Tesla- Arrangements will be made for both factory pick up and some type of "local" delivery until their showrooms /distribution centers are in place

Hey Dan welcome to the Elio family! Seems all your questions have been answered to the best of our knowledge and abilities! Production to my knowledge is still scheduled for 3rd quarter 2015. No official notice of a change has been announced, so we're all hoping it's still a go! Nice ride you have there, we looked into purchasing one, once upon a time but it was way to much $ for our pocketbook. We opted for 2 Elios instead and will have plenty of money left over to pick and choose our options. Stick around and enjoy all we have to offer in personal opinions, facts, fiction and general BS'ing around.
