Probably Not The Target Audience

Hi Everyone!

I have been following the Elio with fascination for a while now. Not only do I like the American made and Underdog scenario, I like Paul Elio's tenacity (reminds me of Preston Tucker)!

I am probably not the target audience in many respects for this type of vehicle. I am a long time hot rodder and motorcycle rider, I love all sorts of go fast things and drive a Ford F350 for my usually short commute.

I would love to have an Elio for daily driving especially on the days I have to go to Northern VA for work (that commute is HORRIBLE)!

No, you ARE the target audience, (motorcycle rider, hot rodder, F350 owner)
you like motorcycles (Elio is) own an American vehicle (Elio will be the most American vehicle out there) a hot rodder (I see a turbo in your future)

Yep, there are literally scores of bike-types, truckers, and rodders here. Amazing, really, that a small, not too powerful, three wheeled auto cycle should call to us all -- but it does. Welcome aboard.

Elio Owners is not officially sanctioned or affiliated with Elio Motors but they know who we are and appreciate us.
We are the ones waiting to take delivery of our Elio's.
You will find a wealth of information on the Elio and pretty close to everything else under the sun here (we do drift from one topic to another once in a while). You'll find the "Search" tool very useful and if you can't find something just ask a member, they'll be glad to help.

Welcome BigFoot. As said by others....we're very mixed crowd here. I'm with ya on that commute north. I used to commute from just 2 miles north of PAX to the Pentagon for many years. I would've loved to have had an Elio or 2 or 3 for that time.

Welcome Hope you enjoy the ride-- I ride also, and have an F-250 and am hoping the unique character of the Elio will be exciting
