Another Friday blog on some cool accessory doesn't cut itThis is encouraging news
It's hibernating right now, but so far so good. It's my first new bike, so far only one nut has fallen off (exhaust pipe at the head), and 4th gear is illusive when cold, other then that it's been pretty uneventful. It's also the s-l-o-w-e-s-t street bike I've owned, but I bought it knowing that. It gets looks and comments everywhere I go (I am used to that, my next newest bikes are from 1970). People are surprised when I tell them it's new, I get comments like "did you restore that yourself?" and "where do you find parts?" I find myself in long conversations at gas stations when filling up. For me it's kind of a polar opposite of my other rides (quiet, dependable, leak free, easy to start) I must be getting old.Hey Bowers. On a side note, how's the Royal Enfield doing (I've always wanted one of those)?
