Neal: I live in Ohio, I thought of this same point when we started getting snow this year. Not only handling but the noise from the slush is going to make a lot of noise. I suggested that they come up with a set of outrigger wheels for the back end that tie into the brake system to get the 3rd wheel off the ground. It would be an option of course. Browse through Threads or got to the Elio FB page. One of the members here came up with the ULTIMATE Northern Climate Elio. More Suited to Snow mobile country. It had Tracks up front and a Wheel ski combo for the rear end. It was just a drawing. Go back through some of the more interesting threads you will see we have a lot of people who think things through just like you and a bunch that dream what it could be! Have a great day... Double D in OhioI agree, but but i was thinking the other day, the only problem you might have is this: there are usually 2 ruts on the road where the cars drive. Our back tire will not be in that rut and more in the ice/snow. Might make it a little harder to handle
