I'm starting to worry....
I have emailed two different emails listed above without a response. Today I called the toll free number and got the recorded message that they're too busy for my call. Leave my info and they will call back, really ?
This isn't good.

Nothing to worry about; they are that busy.
I got that same message last time I called there (last week Tuesday) and didn't get a return call until Wednesday afternoon.
With all of the news that has come out lately, it isn't surprising. I know they had thousands of emails on signing the commitment alone.
They haven't and they aren't going anywhere.
Just be patient, and persistent; but never rude or yell.

Just for the sake of trying, call the regular number and see what you get.

17720; you must have gone All In some time around April or May.

I know this won't be for everyone but, has anyone herd of any engine or other drivetrain upgrades?

Not yet as a factory option; their main target is to meet mpg and price and getting to production.
Items like engine options will come later.

Nah. A relatively small number even know about Elio much less care about their plans. The only time they'll probably care is when they see an ad in the paper for assembly workers.
