Every once and awhile the Earth flushes it's self and starts over.
The question is, is the water in the earths' bowl starting to swirl?
We all know why we flush and once the water starts to swirl, theirs no stopping it.
Just sit back, take some Dramamine and enjoy the ride.

At some moderate level of natural cooling, snowball earth would be relatively easy to stop. Yes, lots of computer re-modeling and mega-tons of black dust (ground to fall nicely from air-drop) would be required, but yes doable (expensive but worth it?). But Warming, that is not as easy. However, guaranteeing the total effect of any weather interference and the related politics?, impossible to control. JMHO.

During the 911 event, there was measurements made that showed definite temporature effects from removal of 'contrails' over the USA (2f average increase). Try setting rules affecting THAT at all, in any fashion! It's a non-starter.

For example, put down some black-plastic shallow pools off the coast of California, say 20sq miles of it. Down wind, you are very likely to change the annual rain-fall. Some fish stocks would probably benefit. Very easy technology. But how and who would pay for it? Any volunteers? International agreements to allow it? Very doubtful, even if all the scientists in the world agreed.

I think you missed my point. There is no such thing as man made global worming. What ever caused the Earth to go from how it is in the picture to today is called global warming and certainly not caused by man.

There are dinosaur bones found near the north pole, the question is, are we over all getting warmer

and going back to the way it was, or getting colder
