I HAVE BEEN BUILDING MY HONDA z600 POWERED MESSERSCHMITT TG-500 SINCE 2010 .
THIS CAR IS LARGELY HAND BUILT FROM A COLLECTION OF SPECIALLY MACHINED PARTS MADE ONE AT A TIME .
SO THE QUESTION IS , CAN I GET MY CAR ON THE ROAD WORKING BY MYSELF
OUT OF A TWO CAR GARAGE BEFORE PAUL BRINGS THE ELIO TO THE MARKET
WITH TEAMS OF INDUSTRY SPECIALISTS , AN ENORMOUS FACTORY
AND BACKING FROM 65,000 PEOPLE .
I HIT A MILESTONE THIS WEEK . I HAVE A ROLLING CHASSIS .
THE BRAKES , WIRING , SEATS AND DRIVETRAIN ARE IN THE CAR .
THE TUB IS PAINTED AND IT IS ALMOST DRIVABLE .
WE WILL BE PUTTING THE BODY PANELS ON SOON .
THERE ARE STILL A LOT OF DETAILS TO COVER BUT I HAVE SOME GOOD MOMENTUM GOING
AND NO PESKY GOVERNMENT LOAN HOLDING UP THE WORKS .
