Really? I thought they were staying because they saved some money over the use of a conventional latch and cable-release system.
Well, I asked them because I didn't like the way they looked, and a rep from the company said not to worry, they wouldn't be on the production model.

Okay, to help steer this back on target, someone please post a picture taken from the drivers seat while someone stands right behind the Elio with arms spread and then again with the person just about 10 feet behind. That way, we'll get an actual picture in this photo thread AND put to rest the possibly bad idea of a hatch window.
Put one of those convex mirrors on and it would be even better.
