You're the one who deals with the engineers so the sales people don't have to.I'm a sales engineer. Trained and educated as an engineer and have been in the sales of custom engineered items for the last 30 years. Where do I fit in?

I remember being in meetings at Texas Instruments:I trust the Engineers....Sales guys tend to tell the customer what they want to hear
Doesn't sound even remotely like what Jeff said or was saying. Corporate BS, doesn't answer the question. But neither does your letter to Elio. He said nothing about SIL people. He did say they would build standard transmissions first then automatics later. The questions are: 1. Is this true? 2. If it is, how much later? 3. If true, and it's a matter of months later, what will be the effect on SIL people. We don't have answers to any of them.GOT AN ANSWER TO THE TRANNY QUESTION,.,......
Reservation holder 18112 I watched the video where Jeff Johnson was saying that SIL holders wanting the AUTO trans will have to wait until after SIL holders wanting the manual regardless of SIL number....... Is this correct ???? If so, what's the point of having a SIL ???? Thanks,

I think what Jeff may be alluding to is that we will produce Automatics one day and standards the following day.

I wish I had more people like you at my place of work. The Sales guys I work with do not have a clue regarding engineering and tell the customers anything.I'm a sales engineer.
