Mind you, I am one of those who is afraid of EMPs and power and communication grid failures. I was hoping for a vehicle with NO computers. I am corrected to know that is impossible now a days. Now, I wish only not be tracked, not to have spies spy on me and I don't want something or some one to have the ability to cut my engine.
Still it would be nice to see a deer crossing the road ahead, in the dark.
What are the other programs available, I might find helpful, with out connecting to the internet?
If you read the information provided by EM, they will be droid compatible by the time Elio is produced. They prefer Apple because it is more secure. :-) ZI looked on Skyz web page and it says its only for apple products. Does not mention droids. That will be a big mistake. They need to make it affordable because for less than a $100 you can get all the OBDII information to display on phone or tablet. It looks neat would like to have but they have to be reasonable in the price point and need to get it set up for the droids!
