FYI, the SkyzMatic system communicates with Apple, Android, and Microsoft devices. Infinite Skyz will develop the apps to interface the Elio with Android and Microsoft devices after production starts in 2015.

Future Elio owners will not be impacted by the SkyzMatic system. It is an option only that is not forced on future Elio owners who plan to purchase their Elio for $6,800.

If the SkyzMatic system is purchased as an option, there will be no other charges from Elio Motors and Infinite Skyz. There will be monthly cellular charges for cell services from a service provider if cell services are selected by the Elio owners.'

The Skyzmatic is a cellular system; with that in mind, has anyone heard how much the monthly subscription charge will be for the Skyzmatic system?

There will be no fee from them but from your cell service provider; AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, etc....

I read a few things about this computer option, that gave me pause. Mind you, I am one of those who is afraid of EMPs and power and communication grid failures. I was hoping for a vehicle with NO computers. I am corrected to know that is impossible now a days. Now, I wish only not be tracked, not to have spies spy on me and I don't want something or some one to have the ability to cut my engine.
Still it would be nice to see a deer crossing the road ahead, in the dark.
What are the other programs available, I might find helpful, with out connecting to the internet?

Where do you get your info on this? Onstar is a cellular based system and you have to pay for that, it's not added to your phone bill.

I read it somewhere on here, earlier this morning........I doubt I could find it now though LOL

The statement said their will be no additional monthly charges from, Infynite Skyz, if you wanted mobile connectivity it will be billed by your cell carrier.

But with the Bluetooth feature would you really need cell service activated, unless you wanted/needed remote access to the vehicle?
While in the vehicle one would think you would connect with your paired device to access your contacts, hands free dialing, seeing engine stats, pandora etc.
Sure would be nice if there was a little more info available on line about this Skyzmatic.
