I Sold 100 Shares Of Elio Stock

I bought them at $12.00.I sold them at $0.60.

Does any one know if I have to itemize in order to claim a loss on my 2020 taxes?

I have a tax man figure mine out, you might want to find one to help you out. There are so many laws and things that will jump up to bite you it's nothing to "play" with on your own. Find a tax accountant to work with you, it's money well spent.

I was able to write off a stock loss using one of the on-line paid tax services before. You can only claim so much in any one year, but you can roll it to the next year.
