I want to give one as a graduation gift to my son. He doesn't know about it. I only hope he thinks it is cool. He graduates college in the spring of 2015. But if it's not ready, maybe I'll make him go back to school until it's ready. lol

Welcome to the forum from the east coast. Since Elio will not start production until the 3rd quarter of 2015 you may have to get him into grad. school.

Welcome to the forum and the large group of Elio fans. We are a friendly bunch and usually quite helpful. Yes, we are cheerleaders for the Elio and want ours produced as soon as possible. Use the forum to get answers to all your questions and it will also provide hours of entertainment. Thanks for being part of this exciting journey and you might want to give your son an Elio as a Christmas present rather than a graduation gift.

Hi and welcome from Oregon, paraelios. Too bad there isn't a Matchbox Elio available. You could give that to him for graduation with a note that the best is yet to come. LOL I guess cool is in the eyes of the beholder but I think at least the 84mpg should help some just coming out of college and searching for a job. Is there any chance your son may have seen information on the Elio? My son introduced me to the Elio but then my son is a little older than you. I am definitely in the Elio cool demographic here and I can't wait to see the Elio for the first time in Portland in July. In the meantime I hope you enjoy the many discussions on this forum as well as the adventure of this journey to Elio production and ownership. Next year in my Elio! :-) Z
