8N Ford Tractor ? Funny you mention it. That's what my husband has. We thinks it a 1949, not sure. And yes it still runs. It is a simple machine easy to work on.

I think the Elio will also be simple and easy to work on so the need for a nearby dealer will not be an issue for me.

There will be at least two in eastern Iowa as of now, I am also all in. Do you remember the 8N Ford tractor, they were built back in the 50s and I think there is still more of them running that any other model of tractor made to this date, that's pretty impressive. I expect the same results for the Elio, it will be the greatest car ever made.

Hi Jerry. Make it at least 3 in eastern Iowa. I've been All In at $500 for 1.5 years. I'm in south Benton co. I remember the 8N well. We had one on the farm when I was growing up....also had a Ferguson for a while, but we were mostly a green tractor family.

I'm all in For $100. I'm most likely the only person from my area to put in a reservation. I live in rural farm country were pickups & tractors own the road. I average 20000 miles a year driving to & from work besides my wife going to school another 8000. My 99 Escort gets 35 MPG but 84 MPG sounds FANTASTIC!! Can wait to get mine. I figure the Escort will be about used up by mid year 2015, and hopefully I will get the ELIO by then. Every one looks at me funny when I tell them about the ELIO and that I put down money on one. Hopefully I will be laughing all the way to the bank next year

The country is looking decidedly heavy on the eastern side of the country so we need to fill in some space in the center and out west. I grew up on a farm and my daughter & son-in-law live in Iowa. I live in Amish country so this should be interesting. I even have a girlfriend that is afraid to ride with me! I posted on facebook and all of our friends from all over the world are excited & want me to post regularly. What color are you getting?

It's been there already just a few months ago. I forget when exactly...was going to go but couldn't make it. If you can find a tour date even remotely close to you it's worth the trip. I drove 8 hours to Denver to see it and thoroughly enjoyed seeing the P4 and talking to the reps and all the others there.
