Saw you mention your Golf in another thread. :) Love those cars. We had a bunch of people who raced on a base commander approved 1/4 mile dirt track at Spangdahlem AB in Germany. Lots of them ran '79 or '80 Golfs and Scirrocos in '89-91. So easy to work on! I was the #1 Powder Puff driver for 2 years. Throw that car into a left hand turn on dirt and hit the gas. WEEEE! Thanks for the memory. I was stationed at Bitburg AB fixing F-15 avionics.

Thanks for your service as well. I was stationed in Berlin and dated a lady from Mannheim. What great memories. Bought an old VW bus, rebuilt it and drove across the Berlin Corridor to camp in the Hartz Mountains and to West Germany many times

I'm really excited about this vehicle and what it could mean for low income families and the environment. I'm in the USAF and currently stationed at RAF Lakenheath in the UK. I'll be heading back to the states (hopefully) in June 2015 so I don't feel comfortable putting down money just yet until I find out where I'm headed.

To whoever built the site: It looks great. It's easily the best forum site I've been a member of.
Hi Doni and welcome from southern Oregon. I am usually one of the more loquacious greeters (unofficial) but I have been gone most of the day and everyone else beat me to it. Sigh! I hope you enjoy your visits to the forum and I look forward to hearing more from you in the future. Happy journey to Elio ownership. :-) Z
