I am all new to the forum , curious about the feedback and enthusiasm regarding the Elio three-wheeler... and intrigued by the potential of three-wheelers in general.
Let me start out with a juicy question / poll first.
I added "reduce carbon footprint" - that's a good one. Thanks for that.
Some of your suggestions are covered in the more generic flavored choices.
I try to establish what forum participants think of three-wheelers in general, not just the Elio. Put that between brackets.
If Elio can't make it, it doesn't necessarily mean that the enthusiasm for the whole idea of a three-wheeler will disappear, U.S. made or in some foreign country.
Motorcycles SUCK in the rain/snow & three digit heat. Old age does not help for future either... L.O.L.
Agreed, the Elio would be my "and vehicle" to go with my motorcycle for days when it is too cold, raining, or triple digit uncomfortable to ride. For me it is not about having three wheels but the design in general followed by price. I would be equally as interested with the same fuselage style design but with four outrigger wheels and low purchase price.
My current "and vehicle" is a 2008 Miata. Having the Elio in the driveway allows me to turn that into a hot rod project car that can be out of commission for long periods of time.
