Is 2018 the tentative year now? I keep an ear for the production dates.JWH,
welcome !!!
Many of us are in our GOLDEN ages and have been waiting 3 or more years.... much progress has been made this year and more on the way!
Unfortunately, no deliveries until 2018.
I'm going to make sure I out live the wait
I know you like your Goldwing. Great performer. I loved mine. I could have used a couple more inches on leg length for the wing. Sold the bike after years of riding and was waiting for the Elio. Now have a Slingshot. Lot of fun. Still waiting on the Elio. Someone on the site said 2018. Who knows. Ride safe.glad to see i'm not the only one getting concerned about tic toc!
Paul mentioned 2018; but even if they start in Q4 of 2017, you would get it till 2018.I know you like your Goldwing. Great performer. I loved mine. You must be the coolest guy in your AARP group. I can see the others driving in with there granny getters and you rolling in on your new slingshot. Good for you!! Enjoy your new ride. If you don't mind, perhaps let us know how you like it after you ride it for a while. I wouldn't mind getting one myself. My number is 17,532. I have waited a long time to get my Elio and I believe in the Elio. At 66, I don't have a lot of years to wait and still enjoy my ride. I couldn't keep waiting for the Elio. So I bought a Polaris Slingshot SLR.
Ah Rick, I don't believe that. Your mind is still young! But I know what you mean.I feel 82 and am actually 69, so I have a greater sense of urgency.
My dad's brother was 102 when he died, does that count? I expect to trade my Elio in on a newer model in ten years( how's that) you old fart! Only kidding, I am an older fart! You youngsters need to exercise a little more patience, I waited until I retired at 65 to get my Saturn Sky with a Mallette LS 2 conversion under the hood. I'll be 78 this June and I expect I'll be around to get my Elio since the average age of my parents and grandparents was 92. Patients, young padawans.
