Looks like we have 25968 as of July30, the rate at about 90/day+ has been maintained. By 1 Sept current projections plot there should be over 28000 reservations. It's a total toss-up guess if 30k can be recorded by then. Some new glowing reports on the drive train or manufacturing would about do it.
Just my opinion. Anybody have their own calculation on this?

Very old TV commercial, I know, and while I AM VERY excited to get the numbers, at last. . . . . . We didn't get the bounce that was hoped for after the "comic" weekend.

True, but it still may happen. There are no scheduled events until 8/16 (I think that is the correct date for Detroit) and today is pay day for many people. Also, Comic Con participants had probably already paid big bucks for the weekend with the intention of celebrating their favorite comics. That didn't include reserving an Elio. Only time will tell. I have always hated special events that happened at the end of a paycheck - it takes half the fun out of it. LOL :-) Z

Comic-Con was an interesting side trip with a lot of media exposure opportunities and that is always a good thing however while attendee demographic of the event may fit the eventual Elio buyer demographic I don't think it fits the advance reservation demographic all that well. So to me this event was likely more about exposure to media and eventual buyers than about reservations.

The events I am looking forward to seeing how they play out are the Barrett Jackson auction this weekend which always has a lot of car enthusiasts, wealthy bidders which could be potential investors, and loads of auto industry media. Then two weeks after that is the Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit which is a huge event with all the auto industry players and auto industry media in attendance along with over one million attendees.

Man this thread meanders all over the place! I hope this is the right place to ask about my reservation number instead of 200 million to unwrap the Shreveport Plant, Geeez Louise. OK, here's the question. Is the last 5 digits of my order confirmation the same as my reservation number? April 24th I got the email back from Elio that my $1,000.00 was received. Got the tshirt and the bumper sticker. What I don't got is a "reservation number," I think, maybe I have it and just don't know.

Elio Motors will email your reservation number at some point. Most are expecting the next batch of reservation numbers to be sent out after Labor Day. The order number does not correlate to your reservation number.

Check your spam folder. You should have received your production number in the May release and I believe that was May 11. The release after that was the July 8th release so you definitely should have a number but it has nothing to do with one on your receipt. If you can't find it in your spam folder then contact Elio Motors by email. :-) Z
