We may as well hit the DIY arena in the 70's and 80's with the Tri-Magnum. One of the few kits that people actually built.

I still have the Mechanics Illustrated magazine article about how to build one of those. I love this thread! It is amazing to me to see so many different 3 wheelers and how long ago they have been around. Keep em coming! And yes you can delete this if you want to, I just had to comment.

all I know about this is that it's a kit car based on a 2CV.

Fitz Fend had a good run, one from 1950, and one from 2000. It's actually a double wheel at the back of the 2000 version.
There is an exceptionally careful balance one has to maintain between styling and engineering objectives. Most often the entire reason a innovator chooses a 3 wheel layout is for the engineering. Which often cripples the styling. How did Fitz do?
My personal experience, someone will always hate it, someone will always love it.
