Torchinsky was very funny in that video. Perhaps he should stick to making funny videos about stinker relics from the past instead of fixating on future innovative vehicles like the Elio and critiquing it to death before it even rolls out of production.

First time I've seen the guy before, and haven't seen the video of him 'dissing' the Elio, but making fun of vehicle seems to be his modus operandi...even if he knows nothing about them.

He borders on obsessing over the Elio and what he perceives as its faults, especially fixating on the "up to 84 mpg" claim. Reading his garbage, one might conclude he thinks that adding "up to" is akin to a Kennedy assassination conspiracy. Note that he's been fixated on the 84 mpg for some time, like he's trying to uncover Watergate or the Pentagon Papers:

Of course, he claims he doesn't hate Elio at all and really just wants to see it succeed. Right.

I've said it before: Torchinsky is nothing but a hack working as a third-rate "journalist" for a third-rate online mag with little more than contempt for the vehicles he covers. He's more comedian than journalist.
