As A supporting reservation holder After years of these same rehash in your Friday blog, I am losing more faith in the company by the day, from the outside it seems little physical action to start building this wonderful car. I feel like I invested my very hard earned money believing In elio and would have had one in my drive way 4 years ago. Paul Elio make it happen soon! many reservation holders have lost faith and are getting upset, and for fair reason. I can’t recomend people to make reservations until I see production and I feel many others feel the same. I hope some of my assumptions are wrong and it goes into production soon. Time for a keystone, happy weekend everyone!

When ELIO stock goes up, like yesterday morning, I think maybe it's finally happening, then it sells off and I think nope.
I really hope the final by the number is not a big fat 0.

I sincerely hope Paul raises the base price significantly, and scales back his unit volume expectations.

I don’t expect that anyone will ever take delivery of a $10,000 (or less) Elio vehicle, that pricing is just not possible in the real world.

I always thought it was very strange that Paul offered price incentives and bonuses to sell a $7500 vehicle.

I don’t expect that anyone will ever take delivery of a $10,000 (or less) Elio vehicle, that pricing is just not possible in the real world.

I always thought it was very strange that Paul offered price incentives and bonuses to sell a $7500 vehicle.

What you need to do is this. Search: "The Coolest Cooler Lawsuit" or "The Coolest Cooler Update". Just read this article and it shows that when you under price your backers model of a product, which end up being the first ones you ship, will run you out of money in a jiffy and you resort to selling them at full price to anyone on Amazon before you ship to your backers.

As I have covered before, Elio is literally leaving millions of dollars on the table for just fulfilling all of the initial orders. Those initial orders will cost the company more than the ones down the road due to initial manufacturing always costs more and has many more problems (manufacturing, suppliers and after the product is in the field) as opposed to a year or two down the road. Add into that, the reservation money has already been spent a long time ago and the incentives, means for a money loser for a while, until Elio can get past that stage. Maybe this is why Pat suggested that Eliocoin holders get to move to the front of the line. They pay a premium but that generates a profit which will allow them to make the ones that will lose them money. It'll be a PR nightmare but if it gets the reservation holders their award, then they will be happy. It just might take longer than expected.

It's sort of what Tesla did with the Model 3 except they are building the higher profit models first while going through manufacturing hell.

Same here. Im locked in for the $7k but would have no problem buying at $10K, but I have a couple stipulations. First, the MPG remains over 60 HWY. Second, it goes into production before the end of 2019. Honestly, if this car goes into production 2 or three years down the road, I really don't think I will have a use for it. This is go time....

Elio will not go into production before August 6, 2020. So, you already have one stipulation not met. Does that mean you are done with Elio?
