Don't equate the requirement date change to when Elio will go to production. All this date change means is that Elio has more time if they need it.

Welcome to the forum, Us old guys can use all the help that we can stand.
I agree it is there "Just in case". I really really really want to believe this is just a very generous buffer for a worst case scenario. This may be because of the meetings that required ND agreements, so I do believe that Elio will persevere to all of our delight!
I just get cranky because the vehicle that I want to retire when the Elio is purchased is requiring more nickels and dimes than I want to put in it. I know, cry me a river. Ha ha ha.

The SEC document says if Elio receives $25 million in funding by the end of July, then Elio must pay back RACER its overdue bill—now totaled at $1.75 million—and on top of that, the default interest rate of 18 percent will begin to accrue starting in August. But now, Elio has an extra year to pay back the full loan.
So here’s the question: Who’s going to immediately float Elio $25 million?
