I am not all in at a level high enough to receive the coveted "number". Elio says they will have all reservation holders vehicles built the first year. I can't see how that is going to happen given they're not even going to start the production line until late in 2015 (fingers crossed). Can they build 40,000 vehicles in 3-4 months? Hmmm... Not to be negative, but I'm thinking realistically spring - summer 2016 for mine. And that's if no further delays are announced. My consolation is the factory will have all the $1,000 holders for the learning curve so by the time they get to mine all the bugs will be worked out

The problem is that they don't define the 'first year' in that statement. You are interpreting this as the first year in which they are built however this could also mean the first model year or the first full calendar year (365 days) of production.
