Factory Pickup, Retail Store Pickup, Or Delivery

I am in Atlanta and am hoping ELIO will make it possible to pick up my car AT THE FACTORY and perhaps be able to watch it being built, similar to what Corvette does.
The unnecessary delivery charges would go a long way to pay for my trip.

If Paul gets his way, those with factory pickup we will have those charges waived. Sales and marketing however sees it differently, and even though you pick up your Elio at the factory, delivery charges will apply. It is being delivered to you at the factory.

You all that went all in! You get to pick up your EE's from the factory, and do not have to pay the shipping...what a gift!

You did mention in one of the items that if picked up from the factory Elio will pick up the tab for a 2 night stay in Shreveport and a factory tour when presented with a oneway ticket. I wouldn't feel bad at all to pay the delivery charges as everyone else, for the price of a oneway ticket I get 2 night hotel stay (in a casino??), a factory tour to watch my Elio being built, and a great excuse to get out of the house for a few days.

Me too!
I love the idea of a road trip to Bourbon street and taking the 40 home to California. seeing the factory would be a bonus.

Don't forget... California has some very strange laws with regards to the importation of vehicles purchased in other states. You may very well end up shooting yourself in the foot going this route. Homework is in order.
