Not needed since we will soon have the Elio.

Also, it's an electric car with a top range of 50km, measured based on a constant speed of 30kph. In 'Murican, that's a max range of 30 miles, if you keep the speed down to just 18mph.

So, it's a cool looking electric bicycle. I'll keep my Leaf and my Elio, thank-you-very-much, although I admit it might have some utility in cities like Paris or Tokyo.

A fun to drive tilting, rear wheel steer auto scooter EV that would work perfectly for my everyday driving needs. Auto industry reviewers taking the i-Road for a test drive get out of the i-Road's cabin with a big grin on their faces saying they have never had so much fun driving any vehicle. Obviously, it will not meet everyone's needs, but will satisfy a large urban demographic need. I will buy one in a heartbeat when Toyota gets it to market, hoping for a little more top speed in the production model, but not required.

Even Arnold Schwarzenneger has a smile on his face and it's standing still!

I agree that it looks like a huge amount of fun to drive! :) But I bet you could improve the range on it even more by replacing the electric drive with a Rotax 503 or something like that :p I'm sure it's perfect for a lot of folks out there.

The i-Road's range works for me. When I need added range I'll drive the Elio. When I need the open air feel on the perfect day I'll remove the panel enclosures and drive the SRK. Interestingly, these are all concept vehicles, so I continue to drive my boring primary vehicle that I'll drive during bad weather upon delivery of any of these concepts.
