Now Paul Elio is saying we will see our cars in 2018. NOT WHAT I WANTED TO HEAR.

I'm reading between the lines and am inferring that, absent ATVM funding in the near term, mass production will get Elios on the road by 2018. If EM gets the ATVM loan first quarter of 2017, production can come sooner. Half full let's me sleep better.

To be honest, I really didn't have my hopes up for any announcement we would want to hear like how the first production models are rolling off the line tomorrow.

Me either. But, 6 months from 1st production Shreveport autocycle to full production capacity.
So optimistic timeline: Startup Shreveport in the middle of 2017 , and full production to start Jan 1st 2018.

No mention of the 100 fleet units, I wonder what's up with that. This is discouraging news to say the least. I feel bad for those that have been waiting longer than me (2014).
