They were required to leave everything intact and in place as part of the bankruptcy process. I suppose it was a good thing we tax payers bailed them out. Too bad they screwed us with the pensions.It is truly amazing how GM just walked away from their Shreveport plant. Tools scattered around, expensive equipment everywhere and what appears to be a few half finished vehicles hiding in the shadows.
Ya gotta love big business, hundreds of lost jobs, millions in lost capital, but you can bet there were fat bonuses for the corporate knuckleheads who thought Hummers were going to be the next big thing.![]()
