If you order anything online (Sears, WalMart, FTD flowers, REI, etc) you will frequently see pop ups from those companies when you access the internet. I don't believe that Elio is spending "millions" of dollars on internet advertising.
You don't believe these companies are spending millions?
Well, for ad space on Google and YouTube, it also depends on how much other companies are willing to pay for your keywords. I once bought a massage chair from a retailer that posts infomercials on YouTube. His infomercial directed customers to his website, but ironically his competitors bought the keywords associated with his videos! Every time I watched any videos on YouTube over the next six months, his competitor's ads would pop up for me to buy a massage chair! I think Toyota could run a counter campaign to the Elio searches if they want.
