10-4 .... unfortunately, our hope of getting to see the tour this Sunday just died .... one of my wife's Texas cousins and his family just let us know they are coming over Sunday to Visit

As a curiosity, telephoned the Shreveport Times today (Wed. 2nd March 'l6) and the newspaper folks seemed clueless about Sunday's downtown parking lot Elio display.
Wonder if the Shreveport Hilton Hotel folks are also "still in the dark".
Sure hate to drive 200 miles for a possible no show situation.
ANY HARD FACT CONFIRMATION...PLEASE PUBLISH HERE ! THANKS !!!

P.S. The Hilton Hotel "does have Elio showing" on it's schedule but front desk could not give a definite location for the exact locale of Sunday's showing.
The adjacent Shreveport Convention Center does not have Elio on their schedule.
The Shreveport Tourist & Visitors Bureau had no information (zero) on the Elio showing.
Sure makes one wonder why all these folks were not in the advance P.R. loop?
Perhaps the Mayor and future plant location Parrish Commissioner's office may have an answer ?

I just recived an answer from the Perry show. There will be a $7.00 per head charge to see the Elio..

Having worked front desks in my youth, I can say that they are the last to know what management is doing. But Management should have sent them some information by now.

Just received a call back from a lady in the Shreveport Visitors & Tourism Bureau. She says a contact of her's at the Shreveport Convention Center said there would be a showing but it would only be for (now get this) the Shreveport "Police Jurors".
Now what the Hell is ah...Police Juror ?

P.S. If folks are turned away because they don't have their "Police Juror's Pass" there's gonna be some serious answers as to WHY !!!
Willing to take a polygraph as to what I was actually told by the Shreveport Visitors and Tourism Bureau lady.
Bottom line.
Why are those Shreveport folks not singing on the same page ?

over time we've seen similar reports where someone called the location of a scheduled tour event only to be told nothing was scheduled .... some members would get all worked up, some looking to find something negative would get really, really fired up .... in every case so far, what's been listed on the EM site's tour schedule has been what happened .... as of a few minutes ago, here is what is posted :

"Mar 06, 2016 - Mar 06, 2016 Shreveport Hilton/Convention Center - 104 West Market Street, Shreveport, LA Time: 12pm - 7pm (Free Event)"

as a pure guess, my bet would be there is something going on at that convention center that requires a "Police Juror's Pass" ..... however, whatever that may be is separate form the Elio exhibit, with it being a one afternoon stop, they will have setup out in the parking lot and it will be free of charge .... why the Shreveport Tourism lady wasn't aware is a different question, to which I have no clue ....
