to me this is big news (November 17,2017) E M refers to the buying location as "a dealer" I thought the plan there were no dealers- ??
No-one else surprised.
Certainly not the usual Turkey comment (which I predicted), but there will be Elio Dealrerships!!- Now that's more news then watching a stock go up and down.

The dealerships have been part of the Elio model since the beginning. They’ve been calling them retail centers, more like Genius Bars than traditional dealers, but they otherwise function as the locations where you go to test drive an Elio, pick out options, order the vehicle, and pick it up after its delivery from the marshaling center. Nothing new there.

I guess Tesla started the, new way to a new vehicle. I hope Elio can finish it.

If not, the Pep Boys partener, may be an option as an in between? Having a retail partner is something Tesla does not have.
