lol, GOOD Morning. Baby isn't here yet. Both Mother, BabyDaddy and Little Damian are doing well. Doctor moved due date to the 15th. I think it was done to get the parents to relax a little. They both have been 'in labor' for a week already. I am lost without the start engine count, lol. They change it from 'taking names' to 'actively accepting investments' . (I don't think that sounds good). We'll might see in today Blog. Thank Honest Tex. I will keep all posted.
Sounds like that baby has a chance to share it's birthday with me. Hope everyone can relax a little now.

No Johnny, I agree. They got enough to START building the E-series. That sounds disappointing to me. But, ya know Elio has some pretty smart fellows running this show. Those boys have many many rabbits up their shelves. They've all ready moved to the next phase and opened the shares to the public. They didn't miss a beat. They made a big announcement out of it . Just, not the details, I don't want to see, lol. Sure, I do. But, maybe they can't, or something, heck I don't know.

Let's focus on a few things we do know. Others here have pointed these things out.
1) EM can't build the "E's" without money.
2) They can't proceed without at least $12m "in hand", not just pledged.
So, because EM IS proceeding, they must have $$ in hand. :clap2:  :cheer2:

They have till December 31 to get the minimum of 1,050,000 stock sold, $12,600,000. They tossed another Hail Mary and opened it up to the public because I think, we fell short.

The assumption is that they need $12.5M. But the SEC says they have to get at least half the offering value, or they have to give it all back. Therefore they ask for twice what they need: $25M. That way if they get anything, they get at least what they need. We assume that they got the $12.5M in the pre-sale, so they could announce the start of the Es. The reality is that we don't know, and they have stated they aren't allowed to tell us until it's over. Maybe they only got $9M, an believe they can get the remaining $3.5 in the public sale. Or maybe they got $23.5M, and just want to fill out that last $1.5M in a public sale. Or... Or ... Or ... All we know for sure is that they didn't hit $30M because if they had, there would be no public sale. Let's just hope that when Dec 31 rolls around, they get the full $25M.

We all know EM is cash poor. I don't think they would announce the E build on the hope the public sale would get them to the min. It would kill credibility if it fell short. I think they got the min. and are just going for more.

Obviously I don't like to run along the southern boarder on these things, but the absolute minimum is that Elio is very confident they can -announce- to start the E series build and that means they are very confident that the program will have the 12.5m in hand no later than 31 Dec.

The northern boarder is less defined here, At maximum they have less than the 30mil, probably less than 25m sitting in the bank. But there is the remote possibility (very remote) the open sales are for collecting the frosting on top.

What I'm really hoping is that EM had confidence they could pay the first payment (and any following) and released the actual order to build. And it would be nice if that was a full order not just an OK to hit some first lower targets.

So for all the above the real substantive evidence is any physical progress on the E series. This will prove what has gone on before. Don't you just hate not being 'in-the-loop'?

Anyone know if the $600 minimum still applies during the "live" phase?

If not, some of us, myself included who couldn't or weren't willing to risk that amount may have an opportunity to get in on a smaller scale.

I was one of those that was interested to the tune of $300 and disappointed when the offer came out at a minimum of double that.

I read on another thread that the min. is still $600.

Just a thought.....sometimes people will "get together" and buy lottery tickets as a group.
Why not stocks?
Seems doable. One person sets up the account through SE and pays for it from there. That person presumably sets up a written contract with others in the pool describing each contributor's portion of the purchased shares.
