Why is everything on this dash perfectly legible EXCEPT the speedo? Resembles the Elgin Dash that way ...

What's the car? A Morgan maybe, or an early lotus? I don't recognize the logo on the steering wheel. And I have to say, the sharp corners on the center console worry me a little.
