Elio Blog, Two States Left

The news blog say that now only two states Missouri and West Virginia have Helmet laws for the Elio still on the books. Five others have underage helmet laws as well.

The two States have very short congresional sessions, Jan-May for Missouri and Jan-Feb for WV. So not much can change there until January. Both States have pending bills when they come back.

How the heck can modern government survive with such sort sessions to address all the crap that comes up in a year these days? On the other hand... maybe slowness is a good thing where congress is involved since that is as close to careful as they get.

AriLea, you may have opened the door to yet another political controversy. But, wouldn't the auto cycle legislation recently introduced in Congress deal with helmet laws and other safety requirements for auto cycles?
Hopefully yes. Otherwise, those two states do have pending ledgislation, which gets revisited in January.
