Interesting suggestion.
I'm not an expert, so I can't say whether the car was there in the original or not...
But if you open that picture in photoshop or gimp @ 400%...
Though the "background Paul" looks to be untouched...
Except for a small area of the suit just next to Paul's left shirt collar...
Dandruff, lint or Starbucks stains perhaps?...
You'll see that the photo's been re-touched around the arms, hands, and car.
That could explain why we've only ever seen the model in in this one shot.
One would think that they'd have used the model more often over the years.
